This review is from: HP Pavilion p7-1210 Desktop (Personal Computers) I bought this computer just over one month ago. Out of the box it worked great. Easy to set up. Everything worked great. I was very happy with it and used it daily to create work for the college classes I am taking and for the high school classes I teach. The only problem is this: tonight the hard drive crashed. It started making a noise like it was attempting to access the hard drive and then everything locked up. I manually turned off the computer and restarted it. The computer tells me it unable to access the hard drive and suggests that the hard drive may be unpluged. Now I have a very nice paperweight. HP says they may replace the hard drive, if they determine it is defective, but I will lose all information on the hard drive. They won't attempt to recover anything. They also suggested that in the future, I do a nightly back up of the 1 TB hard drive. Thanks.
